Fist of Awesome team Alan Zucconi and Nicoll Hunt had 12 hours to come up with a game at the Abertay Games Jump Jam. They created Accelerunner.

It's a game about running and jumping - a 'hyper-realistic sports day simulator', in their own words.

Simply strap an Android phone to your arm around the bicep, and then 3, 2, 1, run. The accelerometer in the phone picks up your thrashing and your character pegs it.

Four people can play but for my duel I chose two. I singled out Eurogamer's new editor Oli Welsh to see if he was up to the task.
