Ubisoft has announced Tetris Ultimate for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The classic puzzler's latest version is due to arrive on consoles as a download title this summer - just in time for the franchise's 30th anniversary.

A PC version will then follow in the autumn.

Multiplayer for up to four people will be included alongside a number of modes: Marathon, Endless, Ultra, Sprint, Battle and Power-Up Battle.

Ubisoft revealed it had snapped up the Tetris licence back in January, although this is the first time we've seen the game itself.

"We're very excited to start working with this world-renowned brand," Ubisoft boss Yves Guillemot said at the time. "[We] can't wait to combine Ubisoft's expertise and all the capacities of next-gen consoles to create an exciting new Tetris experience for fans."
