Bloodrayne Betrayal release date

Out next month on PSN and XBLA.

2D side-scroller Bloodrayne Betrayal launches on the PlayStation Network on 30th August and Xbox Live Arcade on 31st August, developer Wayforward has announced.

30th August is a Tuesday, the day the PlayStation Store updates in the US. Presumably the game will go live on the EU PlayStation Store alongside our update a day later on Wednesday, 31st August.

The game sees Rayne reluctantly recruited by the vampire hunting Brimstone Society for one final mission. Apparently you'll team up with a mysterious new friend to stop "an evil vampire massacre".

The game is developed by 2D specialists Wayforward Technologies – the same team behind the Wii A Boy & His Blob remake and recent DSiWare effort Shantae: Risky's Revenge.
