Airborne lands on top of charts

EA dislodges BioShock.

Medal of Honor has made a triumphant return to the UK charts by parachuting into the number one spot, GamesIndustry.biz reports.

Airbone takes the elusive top spot on its first week of release, backed-up in second place by EA's other big recent release, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08.

Sales for BioShock genetically sagged by 59 per cent, leaving it in third, while Southpeak's free-roaming RPG Two Worlds adventured into the foray at number four.

Dr Kawashima flashed his familiar brainy face on DS at five, followed by Stuntman: Ignition, which jumped up from number nine to six.

More Brain Training trailed its predecessor in seventh place this week, and EA enjoyed further chart success at eight with the Bon Voyage expansion pack for The Sims 2.

Transformers tumbled further down the list to ninth, while Big Brain Academy on Wii rounded off this week's best in tenth.

The only other new entry in the top 40 is PSP title Monster Hunter: Freedom 2 at number 39.
