What is the point in these comparisons anymore?

We all know that PS3 games can only exceed the 360 in framerate and point count by developing the engine for ps3 exclusive. 360 may not have a better processor but with developers favouring its processor-GPU set up they port to ps3. Rendering these Analysis pointless. I own all the current consoles and I think without doubt sony will have to do something incredible to make me use my PS3 more. Like? Selling the consoles with a headpiece as standard and integrating Home into the games. Like how LIVE avatars can be integrated into Some games etc.
