Warner Music videos for Xbox Live
Daffy does Duffy karaoke.
Microsoft will soon begin offering music videos from Warner Music Group on Xbox 360.
Every Live-enabled region will be invited to the party, which will feature the likes of Death Cab for Cutie, Matchbox Twenty, Panic! At the Disco and more.
A trip to the Warner Music Group website also slings artists such as Nickelback, Madonna, legendary Enya and gorilla-for-a-drummer Phil Collins at you, although it remains to be seen whether they'll be slung at us digitally.
Blurb on the Warner Music Group attributes lots of labels to the company, so we have no idea who owns what or where sings why. [This is riveting and incomprehensible. - Ed]
Still, another string added to the digital entertainment distribution dream bow, which aims to be wrapped up nicely in a redesigned Xbox Live later this year.

Stopped getting any at all when a charge came in for them.
The idea of paying to watch an artists promotion for a single seems wrong on many levels.

Jesus - I remember the days when music videos were called "promo" videos, and were part of the marketing for the music, not this rush to squeeze as much pocket change from stupid (is there any other kind?) teenagers.
MS should be ashamed for selling these, and anyone who pays for them should also be ashamed. Basically everyone should enter into some level of shame about something.

aren't all the current ones free??
Comment below viewing threshold Show
if they are free then they're pointless because you can just watch them on youtube

absolute bollocks.

They then need to push a protected disc format that allows people with video playback in their cars to access these videos.
They've really got to open it up, because there's no way I'd be paying for a music video that I can only watch on one screen from one device.
Sony made this mistake with UMD video.

They ought to offer a music download service also, and make it all controllable with a nice new Wii style pointing device currently being tested at M$HQ in the UK.
cheers
