Valve has announced that it plans to unveil Swamp Fever, the second of Left 4 Dead 2's five campaigns, at the San Diego Comic-Con later this month.
We'll also get to find out more about the game's 20-plus new items.
The game will be playable more or less throughout the 23-26th July event at the EA Gaming Lounge in the Hilton San Diego Gaslamp Quarter Hotel, 401 K. Street.
To celebrate the announcement announcement, Valve released a single shot of Swamp Fever (check it out below).
Left 4 Dead 2 is due in European shops on 20th November and on Steam on 17th November, and introduces a refined AI director, new Special Infected, new melee weapons including chainsaws and cricket bats, and a host of other features.

Not that I'd want the whole campaign like that, but little dips into the swamp where you're vulnerable for a few meters, agonisingly crawling through, hoping the special Infected aren't sharp enough to take advantage. Then, just as you reach the other side, and clamber out of the murky water, you glare through the fog... TANK!
I so want this bad.

To be honest, I've been very enthusiastiac about L4D but haven't even touched it since the infamous L4D2 announcement. I want to play it though but I guess I'll wait until the christmas sales one month later or the other L4D2 deals that will pop up on Steam moments later as I can't shrug off the feeling of getting served a quick cash-in.
