Uncharted 2 to get new multiplayer DLC
Including maps based on the original game.
Naughty Dog is preparing a fresh batch of new downloadable content for Uncharted 2: Among Thieves.
It'll include 12 new Trophies, according to IGN. You can also expect 12 more multiplayer medals.
All the new content is themed around the first game in the series, Drake's Fortune. So you will see some familiar faces, or rather multiplayer skins, in the shape of Drake, Elena, Atoq Navarro, Eddie Raja, Gabriel Roman and Javier.
Plus there are two maps inspired by the original. The Flooded Ruins is set around the customs house, where a lightning storm is taking place. The Facility features the submarine pens.
The new content will launch on the US PSN Store on 25th February. It'll be $2.99 for the skins, $3.99 for the maps or $5.99 for the whole bundle. A European release has been confirmed but there's no word on a price or release date for us lot yet.

It really is a very good multiplayer game and a nice break from most gritty, serious FPS multiplayer games. I find it quite light hearted if you know what I mean?

Dunno, I'm pretty noobish in the online dep. But I rocked it whe I played UC2. Maybe it's because I can actually see my character, can use the environment and have lot's of possibilties for escape and aren't getting killed from stupid sniper headshots form beyond. It's just way more user and player friendly, and a lot more fun than regular MP games in general. Apart from the dreadful matchmaking times that is.

MW2 has third person gametypes y'know
This sounds great though, more appealing than adding skins of characters from other games.

I doubt they were really up to scratch compared to UC2, it's the whole clambering, dash roll jumping behind cover, hanging form balcony's approach of UC I really liked.

Will def be buying this dlc, was quite disappointed there were no online trophies in the core game. The mp is refreshing and different in uc2

The last $4 DLC that I remember was the scene cut fro Assassins Creed, which was £2.79 on the PSN if I remember correctly, not a bad price for a map pack, though this is only two maps.
8000 for a Sunday isn't bad when you consider that it's a "family day" for a lot of people, throw in the fact that it was Val's as well and I'd say 8000 is actually quite good, especially for a game that's already been out a while.

I'm inclined to agree, but if these maps could be played in co-op survival mode it would be a definite buy for me.
