Tricia Helfer to star in Halo ODST News

Battlestar Galactica star Tricia Helfer is to star in Halo 3: ODST.

"I love doing videogames," said Helfer, speaking during Spike TV's pre-E3 special.

"I'm not allowed to give details, but I'm allowed to say my character's name is Dare."

Helfer played model number Six in the remade series of Battlestar Galactica, which we still haven't finished so no spoilers please. She has the best teeth in the world.

Halo 3: ODST is out this autumn. Check out the gamepage for all the info released so far, and expect more news from E3 next week.

If I remember rightly, the transmissions from 'DARE.V' in the teaser stuff before the trailer arrived were the Oni S1 officer.

Interesting character to play.

Beautiful woman and a great actress to boot. Her work in the sublime BSG was quality.

ODST is easily my most anticipated game of the year, and this announcement is a nice sprinkle of Parmigiano Reggiano on the spicy Halo meatball.

Goddamit, now I've gone and made myself hungry and horny.

TBH, considering that Halo 3 was . . . what . . . 10 hours tops in the campaign for any competent player? ODST could be considered an expansion pack in context to that.
