Sony unveils new DLC for SOCOM
Snow! Ice! Russians! Missiles! Maps!
Sony has revealed a new downloadable content pack is on the way for SOCOM: Confrontation.
As revealed on the PlayStation blog, it's titled Cold Front and is set in a snowy area of Eastern Europe. You get two brand new maps plus three based on classic SOCOM maps, specially built for PS3.
You'll get to battle through blizzards, fighting alongside either a squad of mercenaries or special forces operatives such as the Russian Spetsnaz. Bless you. New game mode Arms Run sees you fighting to activate or destroy a load of missile launchers, according to whose side you're on.
Along with snow gear you'll get a new thermal vision scope attachment for locating enemies by body heat, plus new primary weapons and extra enhancements. There are two new types of grenade launcher ammo - flash and smoke - and new trophies to win.
Sony has yet to announce when Cold Front is out, or how much it will cost.

i havent played it for a few months and traded it in due to the lag, but its a game that has always caught my eye and with certain fixes could be one of the best shooters around

In terms of lag - nearly non-existing - in comparison to the launch.
