Uncharted 2 dated for Europe
Drake returns earlier than expected.
Sony has told Eurogamer that Uncharted 2: Among Thieves will be released here earlier than expected on 16th October.
The PS3 exclusive had originally been poised for a 23rd October launch, although that date was retracted quickly by developer Naughty Dog on Twitter.
Uncharted 2 will be among the playable Sony games at the Eurogamer Expo this year. The others include God of War III, Heavy Rain and MAG, all of which launch next spring. Tickets cost a meagre £6 and can be bought on the Eurogamer Expo site now. Be quick, we only have limited space.

Three reviews are up on metacritic.

Think I might play Brutal Legend first though, and save Uncharted for later in the year. I played the first one over the holidays, and kinda associate it with christmas now. Might save it for then. Or not.

Dont get your hopes up.
The first 3 reviews of Infamous on metacritic was just as positive. I predict a metacritic average of 85-88%. About the same as the first. The game has pretty graphics just as KZ2. No doubt about that.

Can't wait for U2.

HOWEVER..... Uncharted 2 remain my most anticipated PS3 title for this year alone, this completes PS3 package and a must have killer app. Yes there would be bitter tears from X360 owners.. but just not those of us who are multi platforms owner!
First one was great but with some minor flaws, expecting this one to be more confident of its own pedigree and makes other devs try to emulate the successful formula.
Yippee one week earlier!

I never said it wasnt good fun. If it scores as good as i think its a very good game. Just like the first one was.

Indeed, as with Prototype which was a flop despite all the hope of it being better than inFamous. Then again all the early reviews for Batman Arkham Asylum were very high, as were the reviews after the embargo. It can go either way.
From what I've heard from those with a MP Beta code is that it's very good, but I'm really only interested in the SP, which if it is even nearly as good as the first will make me very happy.

Im with you. Just guessing thats all. We will see soon enough if im right or wrong.
The first 3 reviews of Batman AA was 95%, 100 and 100. Its 92% now so it has fallen a bit. Great game no doubt.

Have you played the beta yet? If so, what are your thoughts on it?
Comment below viewing threshold Show
I havent played the beta. I never play betas as i rather wait for the finished game. Didnt even try the Halo 3 beta even though i owned Crackdown.
I have read a few scandinavian reviews and i base my guess on those. 2 of those gave the original a 9/10 and the sequel a 8/10. They might be way off i dont know. Seems like the graphics is the best part of the game and not the gameplay. Thats all.

I have absolutely NO interest in the MP element at all so my fingers are crossed..

Thanks, but I've actually made the conscious decision not to read it (or any other review) before playing it myself (which is quite hard tbh). I've already decided to buy it regardless, based on what little I dó know about (i did play part I) and start out relatively fresh and uninformed.

No real suprise there considering it's a PS3 exclusive. Though I am suprised it hasn't been hijacked by 360 owners as these threads usually are.

They gave last years Prince of Persia the 93% in their exclusive review too. Just saying.
What did they give Resistance 2 in their exclusive review again? I thouth so. Both good games but nothing spectacular.
Comment below viewing threshold Show
Uncharted 2 also got 95% in IGNs exclusive review:
As good as Resistance 2 then.

Yes it did! So will Uncharted 2 probably.
Drakes fortune also got a 9/10 on here btw.
I never said U2 wouldnt be a great game. But its probably not going to be GOTY either.
