Sony confirms flOw for PSP News

PSP News by Ellie Gibson

31 January, 2008

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has confirmed to Eurogamer that a new version of flOw is coming to PSP.

flOw sees you controlling the evolution of an organism as it floats through a trippy underwater environment. It was originally released as a PS3 download in April last year, and Rich rather liked it.

Now news of a PSP version has popped up on SCE UK's website. According to the gamepage it feature ad hoc play for up to four players.

"We can confirm flOw is coming to PSP," a spokesperson told Eurogamer. "We will release more details shortly."

That'll include price, hopefully. The original flOw cost GBP 3.49 so it's probably not necessary to start saving.

should be quite good although I think even 3.49 is a bit high for a game that can be played for free.

Nice game and should be quite well received on the PSP - it's the sort of game that seems suited to a compact format.

Not that it would happen but it could work well on the DS too - drag the head of the bug-thing around with the stylus..

Er, surely it was originally released as a flash game on the Internet?

I belive the PS3 version was an enhanced version of the flashgame... or?

Anyway... I rather enjoyed the PS3 version - simple, relaxing and meditative. If the PSP version is priced right (=cheap), I may buy it again ;)
