Second AVP map pack next week
Four maps with weather effects.
SEGA has announced that the second downloadable content pack for Aliens vs. Predator will be released for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 on 7th July.
The Bughunt Map Pack consists of four multiplayer arenas, two of which are suitable for the six main online modes (deathmatch, Predator Hunt, Infestation, etc.) and two of which are specifically for Survival mode.
The map pack will cost $6.99 on PlayStation Network and 560 Microsoft Points (£4.76 / €6.72) on Xbox Live.
SEGA has also said that the maps will feature new environmental hazards and weather effects. Boom!
According to details on the SEGA.com forums, the two multi-mode maps are Crashsite and Furious - the former an outdoors map dominated by a crashed dropship for up to 18 players, and the latter an arena-style map for up to 12.
The two Survival maps, meanwhile, are Monument and Tempest. Both are set on BG-386 - Monument in a "previously unseen monument area to the deceased Predator Lord", and Tempest outdoors in the colony streets on a stormy night.

Two weeks after release AVP dropped out of the live top 20, can't be many (if any) people left playing now.
