Scribblenauts penned for autumn release
The writing's on the fall.
Warner Bros. has picked up Scribblenauts and plans to launch the DS game here this autumn.
Scribblenauts is a wonderfully ambitious platform-puzzler where main character Maxwell must overcome different WarioWare-style situations using different objects summoned by writing their names on the touch-screen below.
The ambitious part comes from developer 5th Cell allowing almost anything to be called upon, from beavers to footballs and from ladders to chafing dishes. The only limits are imagination and spelling.
The combination leaves a very favourable taste in our mouths, as our recent hands-on impressions of Scribblenauts will point out.

I can't wait... this is an instant purchase for me.
I even went out and got Locks Quest (which I think was by the same guys) to tide me over till release date.
