Resi Darkside Chronicles dated

On-rails Wii spin-off for November.

Capcom has confirmed a 27th November date for Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles on Wii.

This is the on-rails shooter based around Resident Evil 2 that has two-player co-op as well as a new Evade system to avoid baddies with.

Capcom also points out that "this is the first time Nintendo has allowed a third-party publisher to bundle a game with its official Zapper in Europe".

Don't ask me why I am looking forward to this, I have no idea why. Maybe it's the idea of seeing all those all RE1, RE2, RE3 scenes again, but from a different perspective?

Yes there was something great about seeing resi 0 in the other one from a different perspective, even though it was a pretty rubbish lightgun game.

Lets just hope the psp version due out is back to the 'old skool' and that they remake 2 on wii !

I didn't really enjoy Umbrella Chronicles. If they really must go over old ground again from a new perspective, I wish they would use one more like that of Resi 4 and 5. Ideally, a REmake-style game would have been better, in my opinion.

Oh yes, it's RE2 and REC:V it was the last Chronicles game that was RE0, RE1, and RE3. :$

Still, mindless fun, but Bulbatron's right ... a REmake-style game would have been better. ;) :)
