Put me down for Dragon Quest, Metroid Other M and... er, that it.

Also... shouldn't Puzzle Quest 2 be on here somewhere ?

it's a good thing the only game I have bought in the first quarter is Monster Hunter as I can now go back and pick up what I missed this Autumn since there is nothing of merit there. Pathetic. And no I'm not sold on metroid yet I hate team ninja games in general. I Just wanted Prime 4 damn it.

Thought Shadows Tale was WiiWare? Anyway apart from that and Metroid, nothing of interest there

23rd - Dragon Question IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies (Nintendo)

Is this the pub quiz version?
  • GamesConnoisseur #7 2 years ago

Aye snap, only Dragon Question .. er... Quest, Metroid M and nothing else for me.

    Where are the harcore loving?

Things will improve with 3DS and Zelda and otherwise its MS and Sony's platform for me to the end of the year.

Face Training??? What's next? Sphincter training?

Anyway, this is as depressing as last years line-up: only one or two interesting titles (DQIX and Metroid) and that's it.
At least I still have Mario Galaxy 2 to play through...

"Where are the harcore loving? "

Aside from DQIX and Metroid there's A Shadow's Tale, PES 2011, Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock and Gunblade New York/LA Machineguns as core gamer's games.

Guess I'll be borrowing a relative's Wii again for Metroid then returning it fairly swiftly.

    Dragon Question IX?

I assume this means the new Professor Layton game is coming in October then. I want it now!

The DS release schedule is a wee bit bleak no? :(
  • Razz #13 2 years ago

Yeah I was expecting to see donkey kong and kirby on that list. :(
  • SilverNeon #14 2 years ago

I guess Q4 will have Donkey Kong, Kirby, Epic Mickey, maybe considering Goldeneye and the Conduit 2 so there's plenty to look forward to unless they're delayed over here.
  • Cid #15 2 years ago

As far as the DS is concerned DQIX and Last Window are enough for me, and Q4 will have DQVI (hopefully), FF: 4HoL, Professor Layton 3 and Ghost Trick, which sounds good to me.

"Face Training??? What's next? Sphincter training?"

Yes, but it'll be shortened to 'S-training'

After a hit crowded first half of 2010 the second half begins slower.

    Interesting releases:

    - Metroid Other M (a safe hit)
    - PES 2011 ( all PES games have their best incarnation on Wii)
    - A Shadow's Tale (a top WiiWare game)
    - Lord of the Rings: Aragorn's Quest (hm, it looks like a decent game, probably good, we will have to wait for reviews)

I think Other M is for most Wii gamers a safe buy and now they have time to get all the top wii games from the first half of this year.

I'm really hoping The Lord of the Rings game turns out decent. I could use a bit of fantasy adventuring in my life.

People do realise this is Q3's release schedule right? DKC Returns and Kirby are out in November which is Q4.

The Q3 release schedule for the 360 and PS3 is pretty lacklustre as well, especially since Dead Rising 2 was delayed.

I was ready to be disappointed with no Last Window. But there it is! :D

'( all PES games have their best incarnation on Wii)'

    Wrong. PSP rules for PES.

I miss the days when every one of these DS and Wii release lists would come with a few surprises.. random quirky Japanese games that you'd never expect to be released here, courtesy of publishers like 505 (before they went all boring), Rising Star and even Nintendo itself. I suppose a combination of piracy and apathy killed that off, though. ah well.

*Schedules Super Metroid replay for last week in August*

*Ponders playing Metroid 2 before then*
  • alcides #25 2 years ago

    FACE TRAINANG OMAGAD IWANTIWANTIWANT

    wait.

It's got to be on DSi T__________T
Remeber, with the camera and all?
I was remembering not a week ago how such a title really felt like a missed opportunity on DS in Europe.
