Ninja Gaiden: BLACK info

Deluxe edition of Xbox classic.

Bah. Turns out the rumours that Ninja Gaiden: BLACK was to be an Xbox 360 title were wrong - in fact it's just a new version of the original game for plain old Xbox.

Still, there's an interesting line-up of extra content and new features to look forward to - NGB will include Hurricane expansion packs 1 and 2, plus new difficulty levels 'Ninja Dog' and 'Master Ninja'.

In addition, the game will feature never-seen-before cut-scenes that reveal more of the Ninja Gaiden world, and plenty of unlockable content including Ninja Ryukenden - the original Ninja Gaiden arcade game, first released back in 1991.

All in all, it sounds well worth an investment if you don't already own the game, and if you like fighting, ninjas and superb graphics you really should. You can read a review of Ninja Gaiden here, and see some screenshots here. Ninja Gaiden: BLACK is out this September.

    Yes, games are censored in Europe because of the German market. Unfortunately, you couldn't make that point without revealing yourself as a stupid racist. Nice one!

    Apparantly its gonna have an easier difficulty setting, for people who felt like the origional Ninja Gaiden was constantly punching them in the genitals.

    Come on, it's not that hard. Very Hard is hard. Normal is only a steep challenge compared to the rest of games these days, but they hold your hand the entire time, so it's hardly surprising. It just requires careful attention and practice and you're away.

    meh. if they make me a good price, then i might be interested in buying it (everytime i wanted to go out and buy the sucker, it turned out to be raining again, so after a while i gave up and locked meself in. That was a year ago. [...])

    I didn't see the post before it was edited, but making fun of Germans is not racist. There is no German race. A German is someone who is a citizen of Germany and they could be Asian, Caucasian, African, or any other race.

    Think this will finally give me the impetus to buy the game. I look forward to seeing what all the fuss is about.

    They make it an 18 rated game and put the decapitations back in and they have a buyer.

    Continue to treat Europe like shit and MS have lost a next-gen early adopter.

    RealBadabing, please read the article again and you will see that Ninja Gaiden Black is for the CURRENT Xbox, not the 360.

    I was making a joke about the stupidity of censorship laws!!!! Wasnt racist at all in fact it was the exact opposite. You lot had a irony bypass operation?

    What posted was along the lines of...

    Ninja gaiden is consored because they think germans will go and commit genocide if they play violent video games.

    Its a joke about the stupid censorship laws in germany NOT racism! If anything is the germans own censoreship laws that are racist.

    hehe so true I got my account banned there for posting a link to Trackmania sunrise on play.com apperently they are in competition despite selling none opf the same stock.

    Well... easier difficulty settings. I honestly don't think the original was that hard - you just had to take the time to master the combat system.
    People who complain about the diffficulty of the original will be totally outclassed by the Hurricane packs, which makes the enemy AI EVEN HARDER.
    I don't think I'll be buying it again, though.
