Naughty Dog keen to bring Jak back
A PS3 game "might be on the cards".
Naughty Dog community manager Arne Meyer has said the studio is keen to do a PS3 instalment in the Jak and Daxter series.
"We definitely hear a lot from our Jak fans and we'd love to be able to be working on a new Jak product at some point," he told Eurogamer. "That might be on the cards."
But does "product" mean a new PS3 title? "We'd like to work on it," said Meyer.
At the moment, however, the studio has its hands full with Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. "Right now, we're really focused on working through this franchise," Meyer added.
A release date for Uncharted 2 has yet to be announced, but in the meantime you can read all about it on the gamepage.

It had a bit more angst but with a huge sense of humour, it was no POP: Warrior Within. Pecker the parrot and Daxter were hilarious. Even the self depreciating humour when Daxter remarks on how Jak can talk now, the game is full of stuff like that.
Haven't played the 3rd apart from the demo. My impression from the reviews was that it seemed a jack of all trades game, with even less platforming, but the actual platforming levels were still top knotch.

There is a new PSP/PS2 one later this year, hopefully that will be awsome too.

however, if you enjoyed the 2nd game you really need to play the 3rd. The story was actually what kept me playing through the story missions, it all gets wrapped up really nicely at the end

It's been on my list for a longtime and I've never got round to it, but with the ps2/psp new game coming out I'll probably pick up both when the time comes. I thought the second one was one of the most visually impressive (and one of the best fullstop) games on the PS2, Naughty Dog have some impressive tech (along with Insomniac), none/minimal loading as well. After R+C Future on the PS3 looked amazing, you can imagine what a new PS3 Jak will look like

Have it unlock along with the Platinum Trophy or something and there you go!

And please, bring Jak to PS3! (polish up Uncharted 2 first of course)

The others were good, but thebrilliant level design and sheer delight of the first game beats them hands down.

Although after looking at the cover art for Jak X, all I can say is I hope he's grown his hair again and retained his goatee *hint hint* >=)
