Hayter voicing Snake in Smash Bros. News

Wii News by Robert Purchese

1 October, 2007

Long-term Solid Snake voice actor David Hayter has confirmed he is reprising his gravelly role in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

He will be adding his various grunts and groans to the fighting mix, as he confirmed to fans via YouTube, for his 20th anniversary tribute to the Metal Gear Solid series. More info can be found on David's official website.

"I am indeed voicing Snake in 'Smash Bros.' I've recorded it already, and I believe that fans of both games are going to be extremely happy. It's very cool. That's all I can say," said Hayter.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl will be released in the US in December in Europe next year.

You can keep up to date with all of the characters in the games and the moves they will be pulling off over on the official Smash Bros. DOJO!! website.

For a prime example of Hayter's Snake impression, why not head over to EGTV's latest Smash Bros. clip, featuring the man himself.

haha.

Class.

Hayter = Snake as far as I'm concerned. If they ever do a movie and don't at least use him for the voice I will not be happy!

"Snake, do you think-a fire-flowers can-a bloom even on-a the battlefield?"

"They're armed with five-five-sixers and pineapples. Uh, I mean super zappers and pokeballs."

"I just didn't expect a world-class plumber to be so ... cute."

This guy's voice is the most annoying tough-guy travesty I ever had to endure in any game, ever. I wonder if he is even capable of speaking without SNARLING in his private life. Probably speech-impaired.
