German ratings board lists Braid PS3 News • News • Eurogamer.net

About time.

The German ratings board reckons that Braid is on its way to PS3.

That's according to a listing spied by NeoGAF (thanks Kotaku), which seems to have been added last Thursday and lists Hothead Games as the publisher.

We've emailed Braid's original developer Jonathan Blow and Hothead Games to see if there's any truth in it, but these ratings are usually good indicators.

Blow has previously said that a PS3 version is a possibility. The game originally appeared as a timed Xbox 360 exclusive, which was followed by a PC release.

Blow recently sought applicants to work with him on a new game which he described as "philosophical, and quiet" and said was "being made for reasons other than crass profit motive".

Ahh, wonderful news! This is one of the few X360 games I've been wanting badly (this and Mass Effect). Tried it at a mate's and it's bloody brilliant.

That would be a welsome addition to the PSN library. It is certainly a game which has interested me since the X360 reviews.

I suspect this is the X360 exclusive that TheSixthAxis were being all secretive about coming over to PS3.

Played it already on the PC, loved it.

Would gladly buy it and play it again on the PS3.

Just... please... price it reasonably.

Braid, Peggle, and the Monkey Island games are the only titles that I've looked at on XBLA and thought 'I wish I had the HDD memory for those', so Braid coming on to the PS3 is great news. One down, two to go.
