Exotic DLC for Forza Motorsport 3

Cars you will not see on the road.

Microsoft and Turn 10 have released the Exotic Cars Pack for Forza Motorsport 3.

Take the SSC Ultimate Aero - the fastest car allowed on the road, holding a top-speed record of 257mph. Or there's the Nurburgring lap-time record-holder the Radical SR8 LM. No road car does the famous course better, apparently.

Those two plus eight others are all parked tightly into the Exotic Car Pack. This costs 400 MSP (£3.40/€4.80) and can be queued for download from the Xbox.com website.

Forza Motorsport 3 is brilliant, should you not yet have bothered. Check out Eurogamer's review for a full analysis.

    I really wish they'd change their policy and release a couple of new tracks instead..... you can only have so many car packs?

    i bought the first few packs but have stopped now, as by buying them all adds up to quite a lot and personally I just don't think its worth it.

    It's funny how just last night I was saying to a friend how I wished that Forza had some kind of Radical in the lineup. Now it does, but I still don't really want to part with any money :p

    Does this DLC pack have a sample freebie like the others tend to do?
  • DFawkes #5 2 years ago

    @Mkwone

    Indeed there is a free sample car, the 2010 Spada Vetture Sport Codatronca TS.

    That Aero sounds rather juicy. I've not been picking up the car DLC for Forza as I've still got hundreds of cars to drive that came on the disc. Intrigued by this one though. Still got 85 events left to do so it might be a nice treat to pick up this pack when I get nearer the end.

    Virtually every DLC car released so far has been a 2010 model, the game could really really do with some 60s/70s/80s cars. The handling model is perfect for some tail happy cars from the 60s Touring Car days (I'm thinking an Austin Mini, Lotus Cortina, Mk1 Escort, MGB GT etc)

    The forthcoming Jalopnik Pack potentially has a few interesting older cars, but that aside it doesn't look too promising.

    "Cars you will not see on the road."

    If it's anything like my last experience of playing Forza online you won't see them on the road in game, most likely floating about 10 feet in the air.

    "Spada Vetture Sport Codatronca TS" - a name that just rolls off the tongue.

    Well I am a car nut, so...you know where I'm going with this.

    i remember on forza 2 you couldnt buy dlc from the AH, but you can on f3, so i lumped out a couple of hundred thou on an r35 gtr only to find i still needed to go to marketplace to get it. twats, getting my hopes up n'that. oh, dlc sucks the gig one too, money grabbing fucks, it should all be on the TWO disks.

    @aphexstwin

    Considering that all this DLC is content that is being served up months after the game's release, it hardly fair to say that it's content that should've been on the disc.

    Assassin's Creed 2 this ain't.

    However, it badly needs new tracks, which aren't the Nurb GP circuit, and don't cost a stupid 400 points.
