Turmell to oversee IP revival?

EA Sports has made official the hiring of NBA Jam creator Mark Turmell.

This announcement follows "source"-based reports made earlier this week that claimed EA was in the throws of revitalising NBA Jam for Wii.

Turmell's position at EA Sports was hardly a secret, however, and rather information publicly available via the man's LinkedIn profile.

While Turmell's appointment adds significant weight to an NBA Jam revival, his day-to-day duties will be done at EA Tiburon, the studio that makes Madden and NCAA Football games.

You would certainly find it hard to believe wouldn't you that someone like EA would restrict a release to one console only...

I really hope they keep up their normal business practice and release it on everything imaginable Like someone commented in the last news about it, if they just make a new version of NBA Jam Tournament Edition....dreamland!
