David Hasselhoff is in PAIN News

Baywatch and Knight Rider star David Hasselhoff is being recreated as a playable character in PSN game PAIN.
His likeness, complete with posh tuxedo and Knight Rider suit (emblazoned with "The Hoff" on the back) will be downloadable from 6th November, according to the US PlayStation blog.
Hasselhoff has also re-recorded a version of Culture Club's "Do You Really Want to Hurt Me" for the game, which he'll sing as you thrash him around the Movie Studio area.
"The idea of 'hurting The Hoff' or 'hassling The Hoff' was just hysterical to me," Hasselhoff told People magazine, while struggling to eat a burger and singing down the Berlin Wall.
PAIN was released at the beginning of the year to decent reviews, and has been regularly updated throughout the year.

PAIN is great fun, have spent many an hour tossing mimes and look forward to a spot of hassletossing!
Would really like some more levels as well as guest characters though. How about a mountain level where you get to toss and bounce all the way down a crevass? Artic penguin smashing.. Tossing on the moon with low gravity? This game needs to be expanded as it has a lot of potential. It also needs to come to XBLA so I dont have to rely on friends to be able to play it ;) In other news: The Hoff was also great in the Spongebob movie. I like so-uncool-they-are-cool-again stars who are not afraid to self-parody. |

Hasselhoff has murdered a Culture Club classic?!? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
I love listening to Karma Chameleon while driving around in Saints Row 2 (and how come they've removed the iPod feature which the first game had so you cannot listen to songs while on-foot?). No Hasselhof in that game... thanks goodness. :) /makes mental note to make a Culture Club playlist for Saints Row 2 |

...and also the new Movie Studio level will be available on 6th November, with extra Trophies (though most Pain trophies are nearly impossible to get anyway).

Ok, they convinced me to buy the Movie Studio pack. Good job there, getting an actor with as much sense of humour as the Hoff to play along!
