Age of Conan, WAR and Eve all seem to be doing similar. No idea why now, except Free Realms stealing subs :P Because all the WAR players want to harvest berries instead.

I was really tempted to try this again but wasn't really looking forward to pay for it, in case it was still bad. But I'm definatly gonna give this a try and see if it indeed has improved.

Do stats work yet?

Svpamm1 - They totally changed the stats system in the last update, so items are now much more important and the stats make more sense. You can actually notice the difference when you equip a better bit of armour or a higher level weapon now.

Some of the players are moaning that it makes the game more like WoW and takes some of the skill out of it, but it seems a lot more fun to me - there's a proper sense of progression when you get a new piece of gear to equip.

Just got the email there. Will be playing this weekend. I wonder if there's anyone left in my guild....

This is a pretty decent move, I thought they had forgotten about all us old day-oners.

Gonna give it a third shot, nice to see they have a proper client download system for free now as well.

What server/level ranges all you EG'ers on?

So apparently, if you install this from the original launch disc, the updating fails when you get to the final patch and corrupts all of the data you have just installed....

It took a load of manual deleting and fucking about to get this piece of shit off my PC when I uninstalled it, too.

Installed it, went to create account, and apparently either the key I got from EG is no good or expired, or they've stopped you being able to use them. I know the site says they're no longer giving out keys, but also that existing ones should work. Obviously not :(

I'm pretty sure its too late. The boxed version of the game is cheaper than a sub.
Got the game and 3 months worth of subs for €25.
You get the feeling everyone is trying desperately to get rid of any stock (game and gamecards) they have as quickly as possible.

Anyway, hopefully they pick up enough customers for it to be sustainable. It seems like a good game (I know its ment to take a pretty drastic drop in quality out of the starter area but ... I haven't gotten that far).

Oh I will not fall for your lies again FunCom! I pre-ordered your game like a devoted fan and waited for launch. What I got when it came out is NOT what I ordered. Getting kicked off mountain passes by higher levels with literally nothing better to do was not fun in that half finished travesty of an MMO. This is another death-throw from this MMO.

Both games are still worth saving TBH, they've both tried to change a lot about the games in a year and now both have new heads then what they started with, there could be hope

Pity.. This game is gorgeous and was great but ppl abandoned it. I did cause I had no timed due to very busy life so i gave up gaming in general all together when i gave AOC up. I was thinking of starting again but i dont know, not many ppl left in it. I might start with a buddy again. Trust me, its gorgeous, and fun experience if you got a good guild or just a couple of buddies to log in with. Rather this than go back to WoW once again ofc...

Again, great job to Funcom/Eidos and i wish they had worked on the basic issues before release, would of helped keep ppl and see how it is now than loose them. They really did add things in the genre that no other tried or would risk in their game. This was both graphically and techwise a huge succesfull move. Just not patient kiddos that run back to WoW etc.. Like Wow this was full of bugs at first. So much bitching everyday on the OOC channel of the game.. lol ignorance they say is bliss. Bullshit if you ask me, i tend to react to it cause i have no tolerance for it. Neither i can find a reason.

Anyhow. Too bad the game went wasted. If there is a slightchance for it to climb back up i wish it happens.
