Four-man Call of Duty pro team Denial eSports takes home $400,000.

The well-fancied US team beat underdogs Revenge 3-2 in a tense grand final to take home the Call of Duty Championship trophy and the $400,000 first prize. You can watch the moment Denial won the tournament in the video here.

Denial went undefeated in the double elimination tournament, beating superstar Call of Duty professional team Optic Gaming along the way. Second place Revenge take home $200,000. Third place Faze Red nab $120,000.

Denial star James "Clayster" Eubanks, who had won every major Call of Duty competition apart from the Championship before tonight's victory, was named tournament MVP.

UPDATE 29/03/2015: The Call of Duty Championship grand final is about to begin.

US teams Denial and Revenge will battle for the $400,000 top prize. Revenge came through the Losers bracket final and as the Championship is a double elimination tournament, they must defeat Denial twice to take home the trophy.

Meanwhile, Call of Duty publisher Activision released a gameplay trailer for Exo Zombies Infection, part two of Advanced Warfare's Exo Zombies co-op. The Ascendance DLC is out on Tuesday, 31st March on Xbox platforms.

UPDATE: The Call of Duty Championships' top three teams have been decided.

The Upper Bracket final sees Denial eSports go up against Revenge Gaming. The loser of that match faces Faze Red in the Lower Bracket final. The winners of the brackets finals play in the Championship Match for the $400,000 top prize.

The Upper Bracket final begins at 7pm UK time.

The Call of Duty Championship is going on right now in Los Angeles, and it's being streamed over at MLG.tv, as well as Xbox Live. We've got the main "alpha" stream embedded below.

The UK was represented by Epsilon eSports, who went up against established North American teams Optic Gaming, Team EnVy and Team Kaliber.

Right now the tournament is working out who will play in the upper bracket and lower bracket finals, set to begin tomorrow, Sunday, 29th March at 9pm UK time. The Championship Match should begin around 10pm.
