Telltale's The Walking Dead gets PS4 and Xbox One release date

Both seasons set for simultaneous re-animation.

Both seasons of Telltale's The Walking Dead will be released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on 24th October.

Oh the feels.

Physical and digital copies of each season will be available on the same date, Telltale announced (thanks, IGN).

Both seasons contain five individual episodes, while the first season also containing the bonus episode 400 Days.

Boxed versions of Season Two are also on the way for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PlayStation Vita - the latter of which will launch on 4th November.

It's unknown what (if any) upgrades will be included for new-gen consoles - Telltale has yet to show off any footage from its new versions.

A third season of The Walking Dead has been announced for next year but likely won't be available until 2015's latter half.

Telltale already has a busy slate of projects for launch before then: firstly its Tales from the Borderlands team-up with Gearbox Studios, and then its highly-anticipated Game of Thrones series.
