Ah, Half-Life 2. Remember that? This November it's 10 years old.
So it's getting on a bit, which begs the question: what if someone remade it to look all modern and shiny? Perhaps using Epic's Unreal game engine.
Then it might look like this.
Polycount user Logithx recreated a City 17 environment using the Unreal Development Kit and these images are the result.
But now that Unreal has released Unreal Engine 4, Logithx plans to convert the environment to that new and improved engine, so it'll probably look even better.
"Can't wait to get going with UE4," he said.
Something something about Half-Life 3...
