Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy 13 demo out now
With extra costume DLC on PS3.
You can now download a trial version of Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy 13 on Xbox 360, Square Enix has announced.
The 1.14GB download is available today to those with an Xbox Live Gold subscription. Xbox Live Silver people - you'll have to wait until next Tuesday.
European PlayStation 3 owners will be able to nab the demo from tomorrow but get an exclusive piece of costume DLC to make up for the wait - the Utsusemi Samurai garb, which will unlock for use in the main game.
The trial will let you play as Lightning in the city of Yusnaan as she searches for returning character Snow Villiers. The taste test also includes a sampling of the game's new customisation and battle systems.
All players who finish the demo and post their results via social networks will receive an exclusive Lightning costume that allows you to dress the pink-haired heroine as Final Fantasy 6's Siegfried.
