Mojang's Scrolls goes into open beta 3rd June, costs £13

Launch trailer released.

Scrolls, the virtual card battling game from the company behind Minecraft, goes into open beta on 3rd June. It costs £13 / €15 / $20 and is available for PC and Mac.

Mojang released a launch trailer, below, to mark the occasion.

Christian Donlan shuffled his pack for a Scrolls preview published late 2012. "Even in closed alpha, Scrolls is a wonderfully dependable kind of fun, of course: it's not afraid to plunder the classics for inspiration, but it's also a deep and yet strangely compact game," he wrote. "It benefits from a clear-eyed ruleset and from the goodwill earned through Minecraft that Mojang's not going to unbalance the economy on a whim or nickle and dime you over new cards."
