Far Cry 3 release date revealed by leaked trailer

The Far Cry 3 release date has been revealed by a leaked trailer.

Website AllGamesBeta published the trailer under the headline: "Far Cry 3 Cinematic Trailer Leaked."

The German trailer, purely CGI, shows a group of happy-go-lucky adventurers frolicking on a far-away island. They drink and laugh with hardly a care in the world. Then something nasty happens. Bad people swear, and guns are fired.

There's dubstep, too.

At the end of the trailer a 6th September release date is revealed. That's a Thursday - the day games in Germany are usually sold. It indicates a Friday, 7th September release date in the UK.

This leaked trailer is an extended version of the trailer below.

Would buy it if it was out during the summer drought, but early sept is usually when big hitters start getting released.

So unless it is exceedingly good and doesn't have the most organised group of rebels in history (How can they replace a whole team of people in less than 2 minutes?) I'll be waiting for a price drop.

I'm not worried yet, video game trailers of late seem to pick horible tunes that dont fit and have no presence in the actual game anyway. Much like the battlefield 3 Jay Zed trailer

Always liked the Farcry game's. The second was a bit flawed, but they always offer somthing new and different. Looking forward to it.

I'm sorry but why is dubstep being used in every trailer now adays lmao In some it works like SSX, but Farcry... not for me

Must say, after having read the preview in the latest Edge, this is one of my most anticipated games this year. It sounds like they have finally pulled off a decent balance between scripted spectacle and open-world emergence. I'd hoped it would be out a bit earlier, but considering how many other games I have yet to finish from last year, that's probably a good thing.

The same trailer was relased earlier from Eurogamer entitled:
"Fresh Far Cry 3 teaser is full of swears"

I would like to ask:
Leaked trailer means that it doesn't have the approval
of Ubisoft and somebody realesed it without Ubisoft seeing
or knowing about it ?

Until I get an answer I would like to quote what I wrote earlier
about this trailer":

"Unfortunatly many people who try to advertise
games have previously worked in other entertainment
sectors of the media industry and believe that
using swearing will promote the game and make it more
cool.

Yestrday I saw the advertisment that promoted the Kinect
Star wars game where a little girl was strangulating
imperial officers. Is this the message : Strangualting
people is fun ???

I personally detest with such kind of advertisments because
they pass negative messages of behaviour, ESPECIALLY
to children and for me personally show that they underestimate
the intellectual abilities of gamers.

The Youtube video was pulled due to Ubi complaints.
A Russian website still has it up:
