Lost Identity on PC and iOS in November.

A new XIII game launches on Mac, PC and iOS systems in November, publisher Anuman Interactive has announced.

It's unclear whether the title, called XIII: Lost Identity, has any connection with Ubisoft's 2003 GameCube/PS2/Xbox "flawed masterpiece".

No gameplay details have been released yet, but we're chasing Anuman to see if we can find out more.

For the uninitiated, XIII started life as a Bourne Identity-esque Belgian comic book series following a mysterious protagonist suffering from amnesia as he attempts to find out what happened to him.

XIII was brill. Bonus points for Adam West doing some of the voice acting. PC version is cheap on GoG, too, and their version runs on newer OSs.

Very excited, although slightly worried that this will also head for iOS.

Still think it was a mistake by Ubisoft to never release a sequel, even though the story begged for it.

XIII is a genuine classic. I hope this a proper sequel, though it does sound like it could be a spin-off of some kind. If it was a full FPS game I can't help thinking it would have been announced for consoles too.

XIII is a great game, besides the sneaking-thru-the-submarine level and the bosses. Hope this new game continue on the story of the first game seeing it ended with a cliffhanger.

Dug the first one but the constant disc swopping on pc was nuts (this was just before the switch to dvd discs). Also my pc sucked and the game would always crash to desktop whenever the next disc was placed in the tray. So actually not the game's fault but my stupid pc's. The coolest MFing soundtrack though.

Euhm... Hello... Bourne Identity-esque??
Bourne Identity was a XIII-esque movie, as they stole the whole set-up. The original comic book was created a long time ago.

Pretty sure Van Hamme based the entire premise on Ludlum's "The Bourne Identity" which appeared several years before the comic.

If thisw is the same XIII as what i loved form yesteryear, then im game,

Providing that David Duchovney comes back to do the voice, then im definatly game.

I miss throwing pieces of glass at a baddie to see the frames pop up of what it looked like!
You just dont get that style anymore...
