Street Fighter X Tekken release date
Plus: Rufus joins roster, PC port coming.
Capcom's cross-IP dust-up Street Fighter X Tekken launches on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 from 9th March.
The date was revealed at Comic Con in New York earlier today, according to the Capcom Unity blog, along with one new character - Rufus from Street Fighter IV.
Capcom also confirmed that a PC version of the game is in the works, along with a PlayStation Vita port.
And to top it all off, series producer Yoshinori Ono divulged details of the game's special edition, currently only confirmed for the US. It includes the following extras:
- Build-It-Yourself Arcade Cabinet Bank (approximately 5"H)
- Exclusive Prequel Comic Book by UDON
- 36 Gems: Includes All Pre-Order Packs Plus An Exclusive Pack
- Pre-Order Bonus: Nine Exclusive Gems Only Available For Pre-Ordering SE
- Total of 45 Gems When You Pre-Order

No chance I'll be paying anywhere near full price due to their dick move UMvC3 tactics. Bargain bin / 2nd hand for this one also.
Good move Capcom - scaring off your loyal paying customers.
edit: This one launches on my Birthday, too. If they hadn't been such idiots with MvC, then I could have impulse bought it easily, as I'll be off work relaxing.

Couldn't agree more about SSFIV, thought it was a substantial overhaul and was fantastic value for money. Not so much on AE though; i justified it by considering what i paid for Super at launch and figured it brought the whole package into line with the RRP of most new titles.
My three main hobbies are gaming, music and cycling, and i cannot believe how weary i'm becoming as a consumer of games, there's absolutely nothing like it in the other two, bleh
