    I'll wait for the ultimate/arcade/turbo whatever they'll call it edition.

    If there ever was such a thing as a lock on a bet, this would be it, 100%.

    LOL Finally officially confirmed that PC version :)

    Nice I'm in.

    OMG release date and PC version, I am so pleased. This is one of the most exciting games... ever. Adding it to my Steam digital library... I have an arcade stick ready.

    With a super turbo edition to follow on October 22nd and also as a Wii U launch title.

    More super turbo edition comments don't you think that's a bit old by now.

    @liamthemaster

    Probably true though....

    Yep - I'll also wait for the Super/Turbo/Arcade/Ultimate edition, as they'll leave a few essentials out of this one.

    No chance I'll be paying anywhere near full price due to their dick move UMvC3 tactics. Bargain bin / 2nd hand for this one also.

    Good move Capcom - scaring off your loyal paying customers.

    edit: This one launches on my Birthday, too. If they hadn't been such idiots with MvC, then I could have impulse bought it easily, as I'll be off work relaxing.

    Well I hope its Steamworks this time, I'd like to give Street Fighter ago, but not at the cost of using GFWL. Steamworks this time Capcom! =D

    liamthemaster the better question is don't Capcom think its getting old doing this. I certainly do.
  • FuzzyDuck #13 7 months ago

    Yup, also burned by MvC3, think i'm gonna sit this one out too.
  • Steizgr8 #14 7 months ago

    I didn't feel burned by Super Street Fighter 4 or the Arcade Edition, but I feel I was very badly burned by MvC3 and the new ultimate edition. Really don't know what to do with this game. I wanna play it from launch, it looks incredible, but there's not a snowball's chance in hell that a superior version doesn't come out less than a year later a discounted price.

    Not really one to buy in to the Capcom hate over this sort of stuff, but it's getting very hard not to :(

    @Steizgr8

    Couldn't agree more about SSFIV, thought it was a substantial overhaul and was fantastic value for money. Not so much on AE though; i justified it by considering what i paid for Super at launch and figured it brought the whole package into line with the RRP of most new titles.

    My three main hobbies are gaming, music and cycling, and i cannot believe how weary i'm becoming as a consumer of games, there's absolutely nothing like it in the other two, bleh
