Advice to all: Mortal Kombat II is much better.

There's something strangely worrying and cynical about a new release of an already released game being labelled as "...the complete edition". Isn't this surely what the original should have been you lazy toe rags?
  • HyperTails #3 8 months ago

The same day as Skyrim, eh? Very brave.

And is there any news of the PS3 complete edition? There's no way i'm buying this game now, if a complete edition is waiting to be announced. Of course, i'll just wait to buy it anyway, no chance i'd get ANY game the same day as Skyrim.

So the complete edition is coming to PC only?! Kinda confusing...
  • BBIAJ #8 8 months ago

I reckon consoles will get it, just as we did GTaIV, are getting RDR, and so it only makes sense that we'll see L.A. Noire too.

motherfuck these stupid ass publishers.. these assholes feel the need to shit out all their releases during the last 2 -3 months of the year... so annoying!!!

No mention of GFW or GFWL awesome ^^ . It'll either be Steamworks or Rockstars own social hub thing, which is still better than GFWL :)
  • TriggerHippie #11 8 months ago

Right, because they're not available after the release date....

PC owners, save your money. It's a unique experience, but not an essential one.

So if the Consuls Car case is no longer PS3 exclusive does that mean we can have it for xbox now?

There's no point in releasing a complete edition for consoles, as the basic game plus Rockstar pass = Complete edition.
  • Spong #15 8 months ago

Shit game. Isn't worth £40. Unless you like shit games.
I still haven't bothered with the Nicholson DLC yet, it's been sat there for months. Feel free to neg me btw, it doesn't stop the game from being shit.

"There's no point in releasing a complete edition for consoles, as the basic game plus Rockstar pass = Complete edition."

Well, the point is that like always a disc based edition might be much cheaper due to the competition among online retailers.

Recently finished L.A. Noire and loved it. Fantastic game.

However, the DLC pissed me off. The reason being that some of it was obviously cut out of the game rather than being in addition to the game. Moreover, I had a 360 "Rockstar Pass" so am still waiting for "The Consul's Car" case.

"... includes access to all five previously available DLC cases, which must downloaded separately with a multi-use code provided."

Ugh, you're kidding me, right? If this is supposed to be the complete edition, why not just include all the content on the disc? I hate having to deal with download codes that will inevitably expire at some point in the future.

Rockstar social fucking sucks - hope it doesn't use it. I cant see why publishers dont just stick with Steam as a standard for DRM as most people are happy with it
  • Vedfolner #22 8 months ago

Never ever buy a game on the (original) day of release - six pathetic months it took!

Worth a rental more than a buy imo. Easily completeable in a week or two and no replay value unless you want 5*'s on all cases or trophies -.-
  • azic #24 8 months ago

Why the fuck do Cockstar always do this!!
Just fucking say it will be out on PC soon, rather than tricking me into buying it twice.

Fucking annoys me no end! Well fuck it... I aint buying it again, it won't be gracing my steam list...
    Twats.

After one day with this game I was telling everybody how great it was. After 3 days I hated it. Won't be playing it again.
