Forza 4 demo release date

Out next month.

A demo of Xbox 360 exclusive simulation racer Forza 4 launches on 3rd October, a new trailer for the game has revealed.

At the end of the Forza Motorsport 4: Making of the Bernese Alps trailer, released today on Xbox Marketplace, is a mention that the demo will be available to download starting from 3rd October.

Content details were not mentioned.

The final game launches the following week, on 14th October.

    I can't see myself getting this. I own 2 and 3, but didn't feel compelled to finish either. That fact, coupled with the phenomenal line-up over the next 2 months means I'll be skipping Forza 4. Will still download the demo of course.

    14th of October already... I guess it's time to pre-order. Anyone know if there are any good pre-order bonuses available? Hopefully it's just one bonus for all the retailers, I hate it when every retailer gets a different kind of bonus.

    Anyone knows what's the best place to buy Forza's special edition ? I usually buy all me games on Amazon.uk but they only have peasents edition, and I liked Forza 3's SE box and stuff.

    The official track list is looking pretty sparse.

    I am assuming (hoping) that the bottom two and a half rows are still to be announced? If so it's terrible design as that is not at all clear from that page.

    Forza 4 is out on the 14th? I better hurry up and get 3 finished. I only had thirty more ticks on the grid to get and they're all on the short season. Shouldn't take too long, I just have to sit down and do it.

    This should be interesting. I still play GT5 regularly, so I am excited to do my own head to head comparison. I expect Forza 4 to be a much better game than Forza 3. At least I hope it is.

    Edit: You Forza fanboys sure are a sensitive lot, almost as bad as the Kinect cry babies. The amount of energy you spend on being myopic cunts is completely illogical. Games are meant to be played and enjoyed, not as a flag that represents your superiority. Wake the fuck up.

    I'm longing for this. I hope the demo has enough content to keep me occupied until october 14.

    forza 3 was so accessible, even the non car enthusiasts could have a blast with it.

    f4 seems wo widen the accessability span even further. From casual to the most hardcore sim racer probably are gonna love it. I'm not the least afraid T10 WON'T deliver on their promise.

    @couloir: There will definitely be more tracks than are currently on the homepage. There are gameplay videos of tracks on the internet, that are not listed yet. The layout is indeed confusing though, at least on the cars page the empty slots show up as "coming soon".

    @miiiguel the LE is available from GAME and Gamestation (same ownership, so no compeition on price, both are taking the piss). The deciding factor would be the excluse car you get

    News report indicate that HMV should have the Honda CR-Z EX, but their website doesn't mention it. Likewise, Zavvi is supposed to have the BMW 1 Series M Coupe as well, but their site does not mention it.

    The demo is make or break for me, as I was going to get Forza 3 until I played the demo and was a little let down. If Forza 4 can bring something new to the table I will get it, as I'm dying for a good racing game.

    Forza 3 was amazing, but i really hope Forza 4 will have more bigger soundtrack. I really got tired from Forza 3 soundtrack after 200+ hours of gameplay. Have to pick my own music and listen to it. And Xbox worked with my music very good, he turns off any game music in any game if you listen your own custom music from guide menu, he also stops your music during video or cutscenes in game, this is very cool.

    maybe im a bit driving game crazy or maybe this fence is starting to hurt my arse but i like forza and gran turismo and im really looking forward to this one, enjoyed the first 3 as well as the five GT's.

    Never thought I'd say it but I kinda wish this had been delayed till after Xmas.

    I'm still only about 75% of the way through the career mode on Forza 3 and want to finish that before I pick up Forza 4. I suppose the good news is I can read all the reviews, test the demo and then buy the game after Christmas for around £20!

    I'll be interested to see the changes from Forza 3 though and whether 4 feels like a completely different game or not.

    Forza 3 was fab really looking forward to this , gt5 IMO was a massive letdown
