And is that Evil Ryu?

The console version of Super Street Fighter IV may be about to welcome fighters Yun and Yang and Evil Ryu.

Website EventHubs spotted their faces on icons for a new batch of Super Street Fighter IV Xbox 360 Achievements.

Alternative costumes for Yun and Yang were released on Friday, but these were linked only to the Japanese Arcade Edition of Super Street Fighter IV.

Last month, SSFIV producer Yoshinori Ono flew to the US to try and convince his colleagues to include Yun and Yang as downloadable extras. He also campaigned for the release of various game balancing patches.

Yun and Yang are twin brothers that were first introduced in Street Fighter III: New Generation.

Evil Ryu first appeared in Street Fighter Alpha 2.

Note that there is also the character Oni that looks like Akuma with spike hair.

Before someone ask it again, the reason of why four of the archievement seems the same is because there is one for each new character.

@nickthegun - erm... Yun is regarded as one of the holy-trinity players in 3rd Strike i.e. you can't have a 3 on 3 sf3 team without having Chunli, Ken and Yun. Yang was ok.

And you can't be referring to the upcoming arcade release, because when SSF4 was being released, people were flouting how Dudley was going to be God Tier OP... yeah...

Despite them being "copied" characters, I quite like Evil Ryu, Shin Akuma and Charlie. It looks like only the first of these has been heavily hinted at so far, but I'd hope to see Charlie seeing as I main Guile.

@Ranger101 - during the recent location tests on the arcade version Yun and Yang were rated as being pretty poor by the people who got to play it. This was a while ago and I wondered if there was any rethink after extended play time.
