Keyboard-controlled Typing of the Dead: Overkill released on Steam

F*@#!

Sega has released a keyboard-controlled version of swear-filled lightgun-style classic The House of the Dead: Overkill.

Re-named Typing of the Dead: Overkill, the game sees you play the blood-spattered shooter by bashing out words to defeat the undead.

It's available now on Steam for £14.99/€17.99/$19.99 and comes with a copy of the original House of the Dead: Overkill included. As a special Halloween discount it's currently half-price - only £7.49 until 1st November.

House of the Dead: Overkill originally launched on Wii and was celebrated for its over-the-top parody of Grindhouse-style visuals and excessive amounts of blood.

At the time of its release it held the record for the most swearing in a video game, although it was later beaten by Mafia 2.
