The Pokemon Company's Japanese website has quietly been updated to unveil a new 3DS game, Super Pokemon Scramble.

It's a sequel to downloadable WiiWare morsel Pokemon Scramble (re-named Rumble outside of Japan).

The original Scramble/Rumble allows players to collect and battle virtual wind-up Pokemon toys.

This new 3DS iteration is a full high street shop release, and will include the latest generation of monsters from Nintendo DS duo Pokemon Black and White.

You can test your Pokemon team's mettle via local multiplayer Wi-Fi matches. Spot Pass tagging will also be supported - to bag new monsters or fight random trainers, perhaps?

It's out in Japan on 28th July 2011. First screenshots are below.
