Badland is getting remastered for consoles and PC
Game of the Year Edition due this spring.
Apple's 2013 iPad Game of the Year, Badland, is coming this spring to PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Wii U, Vita, PC, Mac and Linux.
Better yet, it's getting a complete overhaul to look and play nicer than ever on the new platforms.
Dubbed Badland: Game of the Year Edition, this remastering will feature hand-painted graphics, redesigned controls to work with an analogue stick and triggers, and four times the content of the original game when it launched. This bulky product will consist of 100 single-player stages, 100 co-op levels, and 27 multiplayer maps that support up to four-player local multiplayer.
Ex-Trials Evolution dev's upcoming iOS auto-flyer Badland dated for early April
New trailer shows off power-ups, portals.
Badland, the iOS action/adventure from the ex-Trials Evolution devs at Frogmind Games, has been dated for a 4th April release, the developer announced on its official blog.
Trials Evolution dev's upcoming Badland shows off gameplay
No relation to the Terrence Malick film.
Badland - the iOS side-scrolling action/adventure game from a couple of the Trials Evolution developers at Frogmind - has debuted its first gameplay in the trailer below.
The trailer shows your fluffly, flying character navigating a hazardous jungle setting where certain power ups allows you to grow larger and smash through the environment or multiply into several creatures like a Mogwai after it gets wet.
The gorgeous silhouetted environments look a bit like a colourful version of Limbo or Motoheroz's orange and black factory levels. This should come as no surprise as Badland artist Juhana Myllys also worked on Motoheroz with Redlynx prior to Trials Evolution, while Johannes Vuorinen worked on the latter as a programmer.
