Oblivion PS3 content shared

360/PC owners getting it soon.

Xbox 360 and PC owners smarting at the introduction of a whole expansion's worth of content into the PlayStation 3 launch-title version of Oblivion can stop their sobbing - Bethesda's going to take care of you too.

That's because the developer aims to release the "Knights of the Nine" content introduced in the PS3 version as downloadable content for both Xbox 360 and PC on or around 21st November.

In fact, that being the case, European 360 and PC owners will get to play it before their PS3-owning friends anyway, since there aren't any PS3-owning friends to be jealous of yet.

Not only will that pack be released to buy through OblivionDownloads.com, but PC owners will be able to buy a special Knights of the Nine boxed expansion at retail, featuring all the content that makes up the downloadable version along with all previously released downloadable content - including, yes, Horse Armour.

Update: European co-publisher Ubisoft has confirmed that we'll be able to get our hands on the boxed PC version of Knights of the Nine from 23rd November. Here's a bit of officially worded info: "Knights of the Nine features an all-new faction and quests for noble characters and answers many of the questions surrounding the Ayleid ruins found throughout Oblivion. Players can join a new faction and found their own order of holy knights - leading them into battle against a sorcerer-king and his demonic minions while exploring massive dungeons and searching for legendary relics - the holy armor and weapons of the Divine Crusader."
