Media Molecule has ended the woolly Sackboy giveaway that offered literally everybody in the UK and Ireland a free plush toy.

The first 5000 subscribers to the LittleBigPlanet YouTube channel will receive the woollen Sackboy while the following 3000 runners-up will have to make do with an LBP t-shirt.

"Due to the popularity and amazing response the giveaway has now closed," the channel informs subscribers.

"But don't worry if you missed out this time - keep checking the page as we will be offering many other giveaways this year."

The channel still offers a round-the-world trip to the person who can create the best real-life landmark or location within the LBP world. This competition is open to UK residents and they need to upload their entries to the LBP YouTube page before 29th May.
