Super Meat Boy Forever gets a new release window and teaser trailer

"It's happening!"

Team Meat has confirmed that Super Meat Boy Forever will release in April 2019.

Eurogamer played it at EGX 2017 and came away impressed, but since then we've not heard much about the hotly-anticipated sequel. As part of yesterday's Kinda Funny Games Showcase, however, Team Meat confirmed the sequel - which had originally been planned as a mobile title - would be coming to Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in the first half of next year.

However, unlike its predecessor, Super Meat Boy Forever will not be coming to Steam, but instead will debut on the Epic Games Store. A quick peek at the video comments suggests not all fans are pleased with the decision, though.

Here's a new teaser showing off what's to come in Super Meat Boy Forever. Pro tip: it looks like we're still going to die a lot.
