Rastakhan's Rumble, Hearthstone's next expansion, is set to launch on 4th December - but we can show off one of its brand new cards on Eurogamer today.

Arcanosaur is a neutral Elemental minion which rewards you for having played another Elemental last turn.

Elementals, a class of creature introduced in last year's Journey to Un'Goro expansion, have always felt a little undervalued. Arcanosaur may help beef this a little, with strong board clearing Battlecry which is relatively easy to trigger. Slap him down the turn after you've played something like Arcane Artificer, Tar Creeper or Fire Fly and you'll remove a vast swath of health from your opponents' minions.

The downside, then, is its low health and attack stats. But it doesn't really need to be on the board for long - just long enough to trigger its Battlecry.

Comboing Arcanosaur with Frost Lich Jaina - who grants your Elemental minions Lifesteal - will mean all of that damage dealt is returned to your hero as health. Very handy.

Rastakhan's Rumble will feature a new keyword, Overkill, which adds an extra spicy effect when you kill a minion with more damage than is required.

One example of a card with Overkill is Baited Arrow, a Hunter spell which deals three damage. It comes with the Overkill effect of summoning a 5/5 Devilsaur minion - which suddenly makes the spell far more attractive.
