Watch: We've played Inside, Playdead's follow up to Limbo

(Wake me up).

Limbo developer Playdead originally announced its follow-up game, Inside, at Microsoft's E3 conference in 2014. The game was expected to release on Xbox One the following year, but it never materialised, and the studio has remained tight-lipped on its development ever since. Two years on and it's made a reappearance, again during Microsoft's E3 presser.

And we've got a good feeling about it actually releasing to schedule this time. Mostly because, well, I've played it - the entire game, from start to finish. Granted, it was still early code, but I doubt there'll be many changes made prior to a full launch. With brand new gameplay capture taken from early on in the game, I discuss my thoughts on Inside with Johnny in the video below. I've tried to stay as far away from spoilers as I can, but if you're keen to go in completely fresh to the many surprises Inside holds, you may want to tread carefully.
