Homefront: The Revolution may not be out until next Friday but, thanks to a guy on the inside, I've got my hands on the PC version a bit early. Join me as I play through the first hour of PC gameplay in the Let's Play video below.

It's worth noting I captured this footage on an Intel i7 PC with a GTX 960. That's actually higher than the recommended specs but, as you'll see in the video, the game struggled to maintain a decent frame rate - especially during action heavy sequences.

Still it looks great, if a little bit brown, and the open world gameplay scratches the Far Cry itch in a way Primal couldn't. Hopefully it'll be slightly better optimised come release day, but in the meantime let me know your thoughts in the comments.
