While most games, especially first person shooters, are aiming for photo-realistic graphics at the moment, adventure games could be headed the other way... The latest buzz for adventure gamers is the ability to create a game that uses real time animated 3D models that look just like hand-drawn cartoons, a technique that is currently used in the cartoon TV series Futurama, and is coming soon to real time gaming on a desktop near you.
