And people who don't buy this game with the sole reason being that they don't know what genre it is don't deserve to play it, stop being so fucking picky.
As to the game being a classic, I think it will go down in history as somewhat of a concord moment, I mean no game is likely to ever have as much time or money put into it (not even the next halo). I think this game has the potential to be something to everyone, and i'm sure other games will do aspects better than this, but only if they are focused on them. It's really impressive how they've basically pulled together 5 games in 1....But even if thats all it is, just 5 games in 1, its basically as good as the orange box, right.
One thought though where do you go, game-wise, after spore. I know they were talking about lots of side-projects, but surely no sim games will sell after spore. Maybe they could make special versions of spore that come bundled with 3d printers to make models of your own spore creatures, now thats a business plan.
