Such a dull game, even by MMO standards

I think that's being harsh. I remember the early days of WoW - Silithus? Moonglade? yer 'avin a laugh! Balance? Hardly. Bugs abound. GM's couldn't cope.

Tabula Rasa is in it's early days. I think it's got massive potential, not quite there yet but I'd say give it time. I doubt this'll go the way of Vanguard.

You know benuaq... I'm one of the few people who actually like Tabula Rasa. And I can tell you , that if you dig a little deeper, you'll find that TR is by no means "dull". But why start digging, when you can just bash, right?

lol, please don't try to imply that I gave up because 'bashing' is more fun.
If I play a game, and I don't find it interesting, why should I play it further? Sure, if a friend had told me that it gets better, I might push on to try to find something more fun.
But when someone's game playing time is limited, you end up judging books by their covers. If the first few hours don't seem promising, I usually give up. Sure there are some "false positives," but if the game designers can't make the start interesting, that says a bit about the game design quality as a whole, in my opinion.
