Resistance: Fall of Man - Trailer

Something of a disappointment to some after the crisp previews and innovative weapons, Resistance is still the flagship shooter for PS3 and is undoubtedly going to sell well. Has it been harshly judged by the media?

    Trailer looks great, as indeed do many of the screenshots and previous imagery. But then the gameplay videos somehow reduce to by the numbers run and gunning of dull, identical enemies. A shame.

    Yeah I've heard the game starts off slow and dull and then it comes into it's own after Manchester I think.

    That and Motorstorm will be my launch titles then again they're the only titles in the 6 months it's been launched in JPN and US worth getting.

    I don't have sound, but it's pretty nice looking.

    Very slick cutscenes indeed, but I suppose a bit more gameplay footage is out of the question...?

    I don't like shooters but I loved Ratchet & Clank. Might pick this one up if it's in the bargain bin. That is, if before that there's been a title that has me convinced to get a PS3. Which there isn't, but the same goes for all next gen consoles. Next gen = big disappointment. Thank god I've got plenty of unfinished games for my PS2, GC, DS and GBA SP and very little time to play them.

    If they showed this, and a decent Motorstorm advert on telly, they'd sell loads. Great snowing effects aswell.

    Its very similar to Call of duty only with aliens ! One of the better launch titles
