    Looks good, I hope they don't go the usual console route and only include an external camera view. I need a cockpit view with padlock.

    I wonder if they're going to include a full flight model as well? Players used to Warhawk and Ace Combat are going to be confused when they pull back too hard on the stick and all that happens is the plane flips upside down and the wings fall off.

    the ground and the water look really good. I agree with the other posters here - I'd like to see the cockpit view!

    Dirk_Aircool: My bet is that they (1C) have taken the easy mode cockpit from the pc version since this is the console version.

    That looks like this
    screenshot , replace the plane with a gunsight circle.

    I hope they don't use the view used in "Blazing Angels" that just didn't feel right.

    Oh hush, peppergomez.

    IL-2 is wonderful on PC (I can't wait for 1C's next flight sim, which is apparently going to be about the Battle of Britain) and anything that gets more people playing it is good in my book.

    This version looks particularly beautiful, I must say. The terrain looks like it's been improved a lot, as you'd expect seeing as IL-2 came out something like 6 years ago.

    by the looks of the oriantation of the plane, its wings bobing back and forth, the console controller does not work too well yet... it does not look like a smooth flight model anyway, a bit twitchy. graphics aint everything

    Hold on, there are no menus! There were blatantly no menus in that video, ergo, there are none in the game.

    HOW CAN WE EVEN START THE GAME WITH NO MENUS!!!?!?!!?!!!????
