    This to me isn't golden axe. Do the new developers even know that the golden axe referred to in the game belonged to the dwarf? Or even that half the fun was choosing to play as either the fighter, er female fighter or dwarf and go through the game with your friends.

    This is pretty much going to turn out as JATPG (just another third person game) with vehicles replaced by creatures. Heck it probably had QTEs just to seal the nothing new deal.

    Yes I know I'm being a bit harsh and I'll dutifully reserve judgement for a demo but, how the heck did golden axe end up as this?

    @Teastain

    Nope it was carried by the dwarf in the original sega game. Go look at any screenshot of the original game on either arcade or genesis if you want proof. The new developers have totally screwed this game up simply because they wanted to play on the percieved popularity of a scantily clad heroine or some such nonsense.

    This game should have been a multiplayer live enabled 3rd person hack and slash. Ideally (talking gameplay here) it should have been along the lines of a fully 3d version of castle bashers.
